"I've DONE everything a mother can do: I've locked her in her room, I've beat her with the car aerial. Nothing changes her. It's HARD being a loving mother!"

"This is a very complicated case, Maude. You know, a lotta ins, lotta outs, lotta what-have-yous. And, uh, lotta strands to keep in my head, man. Lotta strands in old Duder's head. Luckily I'm adhering to a pretty strict, uh, drug regimen to keep my mind limber."

"So they call me Concentration Camp Ehrhardt?"

And...one of my all time big laugh favorites...

"If a man said that to me, I'd break his neck." I am a man. "Well, I mean a much shorter man."

Those are great Lemmy!

You reminded me of my favorite Waters:

"Maybe I should get out of Baltimore."

Yep, you got my four correct.

I knew all of yours except for #4 - Wilde. Have never seen that one. Going to have to chuck it into the Netflix queue.

Also....Withnail is one of those movies that each time I watch it, becomes funnier and funnier. You are correct, just FULL of great lines.

You'll love Wilde Lemmy, it's very well done.

You know the first time I saw Withnail I didn't get it at all. But I watched it again and suddenly it all clicked. Now I wander around muttering:

"Here am I, a trained actor!"

"haven't heard from my agent in months...bastard must have died"

They're throwing themselves into the road...to escape all this hideousness!!"

"Why has my head gone numb?"

You get the idea....

Same here. First time I saw it...I just thought it was kind of a meandering mess. It grows on you.

Actually, the very same thing could be said about Lebowski (for me). Fist time was meh. Subsequent viewings have been sublime.
