I loved the look and atmosphere of this Euro-noir, even though the story fell apart a bit towards the end. Nicely acted by an excellent French cast. Herve Hadmar knows how to make a rattling good crime drama and I'm looking forward to season 2.

Charming French TV series about a divorced former medical student who re-nters the workforce as a nurse. It can get a little soapy - hospital shows usually do - but it's well acted and executed. Annelise Hesme is terrific in the title role.

Bryan Cranston is astonishing here as the president who brought civil rights out of the 1800s, and fundamentally changed the way Americans treat each other.  It got some mixed reaction, but I found it wonderful. There are even some strong parallels to our current political clusterfuck.
